Resilient Cities 2019 will be the 10th anniversary of the Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation, taking place over three days from 26 – 28 June 2019.

The core objective of the Resilient Cities Congress series is to serve as the global resilience implementation forum. Therefore, this special edition aims to discuss the state of local resilience, evaluate its progress and encourage all stakeholders to take action under the lens of the Paris Agreement and the resilience targets of the 2030 Agenda.

SUM Bilbao 2019: "Moving the cities of the XXI Century"

This is the first edition of an international event which aims to lead a global reflection on the future of mobility and its impact on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the cities of the 21st century.

More than 40 speakers are expected to participate, who will address the main strategic aspects for the construction and consolidation of sustainable urban mobility systems, around three thematic axes: public policies, technology and innovation, and opportunities for development.

The Velo-City conference is the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) annual global cycling summit organised by the ECF and selected host cities. The Velo-City conference is the world’s largest conference in the area of cycling, cycling infrastructure, bicycle innovations, bicycle safety, and the social and cultural changes driven by cycling on a global scale.

The conferences also attract those involved in the area of technology, health, behavioural change, urban and infrastructure policies, mobility and in transport generally.
